METOFORME SA, the art of cutting !

For the last 12 years, Métoforme SA has been mastering the techniques of water-jet and laser cutting, industrial sheet metal work, boilerwork and the manufacture of chimneys and ventilation ducts.

Though the name does not suggest it, Métoforme SA can use a water jet 0.8 mm in diameter to cut a wide range of materials, such as glass, acrylic glass, minerals, rubber, glass fibre and, of course, metals, to a thickness of 100 mm.

A With the laser, Métoforme SA cuts materials in sheet or tubular form: steel up to 20 mm, stainless steel up to 12 mm, aluminium up to 5 mm, wood and tubes to a diameter of 350 mm.

Also, Métoforme has learned over the years the art (in the real sense of the word) and the state-of-the-art technique of using the water-jet or laser to produce the most sophisticated shapes in any sheet material, for a single item or for mass-production.

With regard to industrial sheet metal and boilerwork, Métoforme SA uses its meticulous skills to manufacture tanks, machine casings and all kinds of STAINLESS STEEL, STEEL or ALUMINIUM parts. Métoforme SA is also highly experienced in the techniques of folding (up to 3,000 mm), shearing, tube and cone rolling, and welding.

On the development front, Métoforme SA is fully computerised and can carry out any design tasks using CAD, 2D and 3D design programmes or other high-tech systems.
